Job Title: Operations and Logistics Manager

Location: Lekki-Epe, Lagos
Employment Type: Part-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a reliable and organized Logistics and Operations Manager to oversee the transportation, setup, and return of sports equipment for our interactive sports tournaments and entertainment events. 
• In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all logistics related to event equipment—from storage and maintenance to on-site delivery and retrieval—ensuring smooth, timely, and efficient operations for every event.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the logistics of transporting sports and game equipment to and from event venues.
• Coordinate event setup and breakdown, ensuring all equipment is properly handled, installed, and packed.
• Supervise the loading/unloading and secure transportation of gear, ensuring nothing is lost or damaged.
• Maintain inventory records of all equipment and track usage, maintenance, and repairs.
• Liaise with suppliers, drivers, and venue coordinators to ensure logistics timelines are met.
• Develop and implement efficient systems for inventory control and equipment tracking.
• Conduct pre-event site inspections as needed to assess equipment requirements and logistical constraints.
• Oversee a team of logistics assistants or contractors during events to ensure timely execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols during transport, setup, and operations.
• Provide post-event reports on logistics performance, equipment status, and any incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Operations Management, Event Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in logistics, operations, or event coordination—preferably in sports or entertainment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience with equipment handling, transport coordination, and on-site event logistics.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with diverse teams.
• Physical ability to handle sports equipment and be active on event sites.
• Experience managing transportation vendors and negotiating logistics contracts.

Working Conditions:

• Combination of remote office work,and on-site event presence.
• Work hours may include evenings, weekends, and travel to event venues.
• Physical work may include lifting, carrying, and setting up equipment.

Salary
N50,000 Monthly.
