Bheerhugz Cafe is a stylish lounge, ideal for personal, group, corporate and social hang out. Located in two popular mainland areas of Lagos state, Nigeria, "Bheerhugz” as popularly called, is a one stop location for all social, family and corporate functions. It is a Leisure and relaxation Center.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Waiter / Waitress

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Resumes for shift promptly and signs appropriately in the staff register
• Greet guests with the acceptable Bheerhugz greeting and presents them with the food and drink menu.
• Informs guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any.
• Suggests food and drinks to the guest and try to upsell
• Understands, communicates products and services and answer any questions or queries that the customers might have
• Take food and drink orders from the guests appropriately, ensuring their specific requirements are recorded on the order taking pads or on the U-touch system.
• Pour wine appropriately for guest ensuring not to spill
• Co-ordinate with the runner, kitchen staff or bar staff, to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
• Constantly maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering food and drinks, removing leftovers, replenishing utensils and refilling glasses where required.
• Promptly respond to the guests with any additional requests.
• Serves food and drinks to the guest as per the course of order.
• Observes guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food, drinks and service.
• Be quick and efficient in the discharge of duties to serve as many customers as possible.
• Encourages the use and sale of loyalty solutions to customers at the slightest opportunity.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
• Assist with maintaining the lounge/bar as per requirements directed by the supervisor or the manager
• Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
• Filling in for other absent staff based on shop requirements
• Complies to all shop policies and procedures
• Demonstrate a personal commitment to achieving the organization’s objectives
• Communicate well with people of all levels.
• Administer customer survey forms to customers
• Peach loyalty program
• Upsell menus for the day
• Report any issue of concern to the Supervisor or Shop Manager on duty.
• Always be a team player and use initiative where and when necessary.
• Carry out any duty as required by the Supervisor, Shop Manager, General Manager or the Managing Director.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an HND / BSc Degree with 1 - 3 years experience.

Salary
N65,000 - N70,000 per month.
