Job Title: Accounts & Finance Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead and manage the department of Finance and Accounts, with the management of small, medium/large sized projects for Barama and its affiliates in the oilfield services sector, all in line with company business objectives. The successful candidate will oversee the department and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all accounting and financial functions for the company on a day to day basis.
Manage all taxation matters through the implementation of efficient tax management strategies designed to optimize tax payments while meeting all tax reporting obligations, both legislative and corporate requirements.
Coordinate and manage budget preparation and rolling forecast in accordance with the company’s short, medium and long-term strategic plans.
Ensure financial data pertaining to strategy implementation (strategic/capital expenditures) and business operations (operating expenses) are systematically collected, analyzed and discussed, to assist in keeping the financial resource objectives on track.
Manage communication with Revenue Department (FIRS & LIRS) in regards to all local tax regulations, and corporate income tax return.
Manage relationships with key internal and external constituencies and service providers, including portfolio managers, legal counsel, investors, auditors, banks, and other business partners and financial advisors, including liaising with the fund’s management firm/administrator in Nigeria for various activities that might require their involvement.
Proactively manage communication between company, IOCs, stakeholders and partners by building relationships with the aim of reducing turn around time on request – make networking a priority.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, especially in the Oil & Gas sectorwith key functions such as Accounting, Financial Analysis and Modelling, Budgeting and Forecasting, Cost Management and Internal Controls, preferably in the oilfield services, or related industry.
Proven track record of successfully managing projects, meeting deadlines, and exceeding client expectations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Professional certification in Accounting & Finance (e.g., ICAN).
Experience with Microsoft software and tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, QuickBooks).
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
