Job Title: CAD Engineer

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Engineer to join our Product and Engineering Team. 
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise and innovative 2D and 3D designs for doors, gates, furniture, and smart technology products. You will collaborate closely with our carpenters, welders, and design team to turn ideas into manufacturable, high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD designs for doors, gates, furniture, and smart product components
• Work with production teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable
• Translate customer needs and architectural requirements into technical drawings
• Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to develop new products
• Maintain and organize CAD libraries and design documentation
• Optimize existing designs for better performance, aesthetics, and cost-effectiveness
• Support CNC machine file preparation and design compatibility
• Integrate IoT and smart technology elements into product design where applicable

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Architecture, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in CAD design, preferably in manufacturing or construction industries
• Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, or Fusion 360)
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and fabrication methods
• Excellent attention to detail and technical drawing accuracy
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and translate into 3D models
• Experience working with CNC machines or preparing files for CNC is an added advantage
• A creative mindset with a problem-solving approach

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in furniture, metalwork, or building component design
• Knowledge of IoT integration or smart product development
• Familiarity with rendering tools for product visualization
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects

Salary
N100,000 per month.
