Lagos State Scholarship Board Documentation exercise for presentation of ATM cards for Local Scholarship Awardfor the 2011/2012 Session and Online Scholarship Application for 2012/2013 Session

Lagos State Scholarship Board is one of the earliest agencies established shortly after the creation of the state. It was constituted through Executive Council Memorandum No LSEC (68) as an advisory and implementation organ on Scholarship awards.

Administration of awards metamorphosed in 1979 from award of Local and Foreign Scholarships, to the award of Bursary at rates determined by individual courses in order to cater for the large number of indigenes in need of assistant in Nigeria tertiary institutions and Law School.

This is to inform all beneficiaries of 2011/2012 Local Scholarship Award that documentation exercise in readiness for presentation of ATM cards will commence as follows:

Date: Monday 22nd of October 2012

Venue: Lagos State Scholarship Board, 254,Ipaja Road, Beside NYSC Orientation Camp, Agege.

Concerned students are therefore advised to come for the exercise with original and photocopies of the following documents:

• School Identity Card
• Current Progress Report
• Two passport photographs
• Letter of Admission.
• N2, 000.00 LSSB Brochure receipt obtained from the Office of the Special Adviser on Education, Alausa
• Every other document that were not submitted before now.

All concerned awardees are implored to turn up massively for the exercise as no form of complaints would be entertained after Four (4) Months beginning from the commencement date of documentation

Meanwhile, online sale of Local Scholarship Award for 2012/2013 Session will also start on Monday 22nd October, 2012.
Interested applicants are expected to pay and obtain receipt of N2, 000.00 at the Office of Special Adviser on Education, Block 5, Secretariat, Alausa. Thereafter, scratch cards can be obtained at Lagos State Scholarship Board, Agege.

Completed application forms will be submitted at the interview centre with the following documents:

• Letter of Admission.
• Father's Birth Certificate.
• Applicant's Birth Certificate.
• Identification Letter from Local Govt
• Identification Letter from Oba
• Student School I.D Card.
• JAMB Result Slip.
• SSCE/GCE Result.
• Receipt of purchase of Application form.
• Current Progress Report with minimum of 3.5 CGPA OR 2nd Class OR Upper for Post graduate applicants.
