Job Description

• We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Spa Therapist Assistant to join our team. 
• This role is designed to support our spa therapists by assisting in the preparation of treatment areas, preparing clients for their treatments, and providing exceptional customer service throughout their visit. 
• The Spa Therapist Assistant will play an important role in ensuring that guests experience a relaxing and enjoyable spa experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist spa therapists in preparing treatment rooms, including setting up necessary equipment, products, and towels.
• Greet guests as they arrive, guide them to the treatment areas, and ensure their comfort.
• Prepare clients for treatments by explaining the services, helping them into the treatment area, and ensuring they are comfortable.
• Clean and maintain treatment rooms and common areas, ensuring a hygienic and pleasant environment for guests.
• Provide support during treatments, including holding equipment or assisting with client positioning when needed.
• Monitor the guest’s needs during their treatments, offering additional comfort or assistance.
• Help maintain the inventory of spa products and supplies, ensuring the spa is always well-stocked.
• Assist in maintaining the spa's cleanliness and tidiness, including the reception area, restrooms, and lounge.
• Handle guest inquiries, ensuring they have all the information they need about services offered.
• Assist in checking guests in and out, including processing payments and scheduling future appointments.
• Promote spa products and services to guests in a friendly and informative manner.
• Follow all health and safety protocols, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all areas.
• Assist with light administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls or assisting in appointment bookings.

Education & Experience

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 - 5 years of previous experience in a spa or customer service environment is preferred but not required.
• Certifications: No specific certifications are required.
• On-the-job training will be provided.

Skills and Requirements:

• Strong communication skills: Ability to interact professionally and pleasantly with clients and team members.
• Customer service orientation: Passion for providing excellent service and ensuring guests have a relaxing experience.
• Attention to detail: Ensure that all tasks, from room preparation to guest comfort, are handled thoroughly.
• Team player: Ability to work well with the spa team to create a seamless experience for clients.
• Physical stamina: Ability to assist with physically demanding tasks, such as carrying towels, assisting therapists, and standing for long periods.
• Multitasking: Ability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
• Positive attitude: A friendly, enthusiastic, and professional attitude toward clients and colleagues.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 Monthly.
