Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly analytical and intellectually curious Research Analyst with a strong understanding of global financial markets and a background in engineering, mathematics, economics, or finance. 
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying high-potential investment opportunities across asset classes, particularly in fixed income and macroeconomic trends. 
• You will play a key role in shaping strategy by delivering actionable insights, formulating trading strategies, and collaborating closely with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct deep-dive research and analysis on global markets, macroeconomic indicators, and asset classes
• Monitor and interpret geopolitical events, monetary policy, and economic data that impact investment performance
• Formulate data-driven trading strategies and investment theses to present to internal stakeholders
• Produce weekly and ad-hoc investment briefs, highlighting trends, risks, and actionable opportunities
• Collaborate with the trading and investment team to guide portfolio decisions based on quantitative and qualitative research
• Track and evaluate the performance of implemented strategies, providing feedback and revisions as needed
• Stay updated on international regulations, market innovations, and global economic developments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or a related analytical field
• Proven experience in market research, investment analysis, or trading strategy development
• Strong understanding of global markets, particularly fixed income instruments and macroeconomic trends
• Ability to build, test, and refine data-driven models and trading ideas
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data tools; experience with statistical software or programming languages (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB) is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Self-driven and capable of working independently in a remote-first environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Monthly Salary: N500,000 (net)
• Includes tax and health coverage
