We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Tradefair Complex, Lagos

Summary

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and expanding our market presence within the automobile spare parts sector. 
  • This role requires a deep understanding of the automotive industry, excellent sales and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of achieving targets.

Responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers, industry trends, and competitor activities within the automobile spare parts market.
  • Analyze market data to identify growth opportunities and develop strategic business plans.

Business Development and Sales:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base and increase sales revenue.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients, including distributors, retailers, and workshops.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide ongoing support.

Product Knowledge and Industry Expertise:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our company's product offerings, including the specifications, applications, and benefits of various automobile spare parts.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and developments in the automotive industry.
  • Provide clients with technical information and support regarding our products.

Logistics and Supply Chain Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with our logistics and supply chain team to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products to clients.
  • Coordinate with the import department to ensure smooth and timely import processes.
  • Work closely with the operations team to optimize inventory management and order fulfillment.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and business development efforts.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and provide updates to management on progress and achievements.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business development strategies.

Networking and Promotion:

  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients and promote our company's products and services.
  • Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the automobile spare parts industry or a related sector.
  • Strong understanding of the automobile spare parts market, including products, suppliers, and customers.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 monthly.
