Job Objective

• To ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of our application suite -including mobile apps, admin dashboards, and backend systems - by identifying defects early, validating features, and continuously improving QA processes.
• The ideal candidate will drive test strategy, execute both manual and automated test cases, and ensure a seamless user experience across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on product requirements and user stories.
• Perform manual and automated testing across web, mobile (iOS/Android), and backend APIs.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and smoke testing.
• Create and manage automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Maintain and manage staging/test environments in coordination with DevOps.
• Log and track bugs using Jira, GitHub Issues, or ClickUp; collaborate with developers for resolution.
• Contribute to QA documentation, test strategies, and continuous process improvement.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with multiple product squads (Customer App, Technician App, Admin Panel, Backend).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 - 5 years of experience in software testing or QA roles.
• Strong knowledge of testing types, methodologies, and tools.
• Experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
• Familiarity with APIs and testing tools like Postman and Swagger.
• Hands-on experience testing web apps, mobile apps (iOS/Android), and backend services.
• Solid understanding of Git and version control workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with payment systems (Card processing, SWIFT, NIBSS) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with the Nigerian payment ecosystem and related regulations is a plus.
