Job Description

• We are seeking a vibrant and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen team. 
• You will contribute directly by ensuring smooth and efficient operations in the kitchen daily by supporting our chefs with essential preparation tasks, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the efficient flow of ingredients and supplies, maintaining high food quality and cleanliness standards. 
• The ideal candidate must be one who is detailed-oriented, capable of working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support the culinary team by preparing ingredients needed for a smooth meal preparation.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas at all times.
• Follow all food safety regulations to ensure proper handling and preparation of ingredients.
• Manage and organize kitchen supplies.
• Ensure proper storage and restocking of food stock when necessary.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment are used correctly and maintained in good condition.
• Work hand-in-hand with kitchen staff to support a smooth and efficient service.
• Perform other kitchen related tasks as requested.

Skills & Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen or food service environment. 
• Understanding of hygiene and food handling best practices.
• A positive attitude and proactive approach towards work.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
• A strong sense of responsibility and attention to details.
