Job Title: Account Payable Officer

Location: Anthony Village, Lagos

Job Description

• To ensure the management of the company’s Payable and Finance function across the organization covering analysis of outflows on the ERP platform and other sources. 
• Aimed at achieving reliable and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements of payables.
• Managing the payable ledger including overseeing the monthly balance sheet and inter-company reconciliations
• Partake in monthly bank reconciliation for FM sign-off
• Assist in the preparation of cash flow projections for business plans and other projects.
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes
• Assist in proper accounting for inventory and Stock In Transit
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as required
• Assemble, review, and verify invoices and check requests
• Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices
• Sort, code, match, and post all invoices
• Set invoices up for payment
• Enter and upload invoices into the system
• Track expenses and process expense reports
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
• Prepare and perform check runs
• Post paid transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions
• Prepare analysis of accounts
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
• Maintain vendor files
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
• Produce monthly reports and schedules
• Have hands on the individual Vendors SOA
• Provide supporting documentation for audits
• Maintain accurate historical records
• Participate in every of the TEAM activities at achieving ERP migration and effective usage
• Any job delegated by your bosses.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 Monthly.
