We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Photographer

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute photography sessions for events, portraits, products, fashion, real estate, or corporate clients.
• Operate DSLR or mirrorless cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment to capture high-quality images.
• Meet with clients to understand their vision, purpose, and expectations for the photo session.
• Research and select suitable locations for outdoor or on-site shoots based on lighting, background, and logistics.
• Set up and control lighting equipment (natural or artificial) to create the desired mood and effect in photos.
• Edit and retouch photos using software like Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to enhance image quality.
• Provide posing guidance, style recommendations, and visual concepts to achieve artistic and professional results.
• Capture candid and posed shots during events like weddings, parties, conferences, or ceremonies.
• Maintain studio space, equipment, and props to ensure a professional and efficient photo shoot environment.
• Organize, select, and deliver final edited photos in high-resolution digital or print formats based on client requirements.
• Continuously update personal or company portfolios to showcase work and attract new clients.
• Create visually compelling images for branding and promotional use across social media platforms.
• Schedule shoots, manage bookings, and ensure punctuality and professionalism in all sessions.
• Identify and resolve equipment or technical issues during shoots to avoid delays and ensure quality.
• Understand and manage copyright, licensing, and usage agreements for images provided to clients or third parties
• Proven experience as a Photographer, preferably in commercial, portrait, event, or stock photography.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of high-quality images.
• Expertise in photo editing software (Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One, etc.).
• Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and photographic techniques.
• Knowledge of copyright laws and licensing for commercial photography.
• Experience with digital asset management systems is an advantage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Media Production, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of professional photography experience.
• Experience working with brands, agencies, or photo trading platforms is a plus.

Salary
N80,000 Monthly.
