About the Program

• Our Database Administrator Essentials Training & Internship Program is designed for aspiring database professionals who want to gain hands-on experience in managing, optimizing, and securing databases. 
• This program provides in-depth training on database design, SQL queries, performance tuning, and backup strategies, followed by real-world application through an internship.

Key Responsibilities
During the training phase, participants will:

• Learn the fundamentals of database administration, including relational and NoSQL databases.
• Understand SQL query optimization and indexing techniques.
• Gain knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery strategies.
• Develop skills in database monitoring and performance tuning.
• Explore cloud database management using AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or Google Cloud SQL.
• Get introduced to automation tools for database management.

During the internship phase, participants will:

• Assist in database setup, configuration, and maintenance.
• Work on optimizing database performance and query execution.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery procedures.
• Monitor database health and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with developers and IT teams to ensure data integrity.
• Document database configurations and best practices.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of database concepts and SQL.
• Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
