Retail Sales at Skipper Nigeria Limited - 11 Openings

Skipper commenced its operations with manufacturing of substation equipment and subsequently forward integrated to EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) of EHV transmission lines and substations for utilities, institutions and industries up to 400 kV. Skipper also undertakes automation projects and Balance of Plant projects in power generating stations. Recently, Skipper diversified into Power Generation with a project entailing the setup of a hydro power plant. Several thermal power plants are in advanced stages of finalisation as well.

Job Title: Retail Sales (Female)

Locations: Marina, Apapa, Allen Avenue - Ikeja, Lekki, Ajah, Ikorodu, Adeola Odeku - Lagos; Port Harcourt - Rivers; Osogbo - Osun and Ibadan - Oyo

Job Summary

• We are placing our retail stands in Multi-brand stores across Lagos, Port Harcrout, Ibadan and Osogbo to showcase our eco-friendly products and educate customers about sustainable choices and therefore, we are seeking enthusiastic and smart female Junior Retail Executives to man our Container Experience Centres.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with clients as they walk into the store, providing them with a memorable shopping experience, and educating them about our sustainable products.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Engagement: Approach and welcome clients as they enter the store, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
• Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Skipper Green products and be able to effectively communicate their benefits to clients.
• Sales Support: Assist clients in making informed purchasing decisions, answer queries, and provide product demonstrations.
• Store Maintenance: Ensure the Container Experience Centre is always clean, well-organised, and visually appealing.
• Inventory Management: Keep track of stock levels, report any shortages, and assist with restocking as necessary.
• Customer Feedback: Collect and report customer feedback to help improve products and services.  Sales Targets: Work towards achieving individual and team sales targets.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. o Ability to engage customers and build lasting relationships.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for sustainability.
• Basic knowledge of retail software and point-of-sale systems is an advantage.
• Appearance: Presentable and professional demeanour.

Salary
N70,000 - N80,000 per month.
