Job Title: Offline Marketer (Merchant On-boarder)

Summary

• As part of our rapid expansion, we are looking for smart, energetic, and persuasive individuals to join our field marketing team as Offline Marketers / Merchant Onboarders.
• As an Offline Marketer at Wakafoods, you will be at the frontline of expanding our vendor network.
• Your primary job is to visit food businesses, introduce them to the Wakafoods platform, and onboard them as active vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify potential food vendors, restaurants, street food sellers, home kitchens, wine stores, confectioneries, and introduce them to Wakafoods.
• Educate merchants on the benefits of partnering with Wakafoods and how the platform can help them grow their customer base and sales.
• Guide and support merchants through the onboarding process — from registration to menu upload.
• Follow up with interested vendors to ensure complete registration and menu setup.
• Achieve weekly and monthly merchant sign-up targets.
• Collect feedback from vendors and relay it to the Operations team for continuous platform improvement.
• Represent Wakafoods at field events, vendor meetings, and local food business clusters.
• Collaborate with the marketing and support team to ensure merchant satisfaction post-onboarding.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or any related field with 2 - 5 years work experience.
• Experience in field marketing, sales, or customer relationship management is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about meeting new people and building lasting business relationships.
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
• Strong understanding of local food business trends and dynamics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional, energetic, and enthusiastic approach to work.
