Position Overview

• We are looking for a creative and result-driven Marketing & Communication Specialist to help grow Wakafoods’ digital footprint, manage brand communications, and drive customer engagement through strategic content creation, campaigns, and digital promotions.
• This role is ideal for someone passionate about brand storytelling, social media, and strategic marketing, who wants to work in a fast-growing food-tech company.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to boost customer acquisition and brand awareness.
• Manage Wakafoods' social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn) with engaging content, consistent updates, and community engagement.
• Collaborate on branding and communication strategies to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
• Create compelling marketing content: graphics, text, promotional offers, email campaigns, blog posts, and press releases.
• Coordinate influencer marketing, collaborations, and digital partnerships to grow the Wakafoods brand.
• Analyze marketing performance and engagement data and prepare periodic reports to guide marketing decisions.
• Support both online and offline marketing activities including promotions, events, and special campaigns.
• Work closely with the Sales and Vendor Onboarding Teams to ensure campaigns align with business goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business, or related fields.
• 1-3 years' experience in a similar role (preferably in e-commerce, food delivery, hospitality, or FMCG).
• Strong knowledge of social media marketing, paid ads, email marketing, and digital trends.
• Graphic design and content creation skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite) are a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to think creatively and analytically.
• A proactive team player with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
