Job Title: Pharmaceutical Regional Sales Manager (South East)

Location: Anambra

Job Summary

  • The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing and driving sales operations across the South East region. This includes building and leading a high-performing sales team, managing distributor/retailer relationships, achieving sales targets, and ensuring brand visibility and market share growth for the company's pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve set targets.
  • Supervise and mentor Medical Sales Representatives (MSRs) in the region.
  • Monitor performance of team members and ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual targets are met.
  • Conduct regular field visits and joint calls with reps to coach and support them.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, pharmacies, distributors, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Analyze regional market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure proper reporting, documentation, and inventory movement in collaboration with logistics and supply chain teams.
  • Organize and coordinate medical seminars, product presentations, and promotional campaigns in the region.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports to management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards in pharmaceutical sales.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related science field.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years pharmaceutical sales experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of the South East territory and existing customer base.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively within the region.

Salary
N600,000 - N1,000,000 / Month.
