Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and support budgeting and financial decision-making.
• The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and examine financial records, reports, and statements for accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns and support tax planning.
• Conduct internal audits to assess financial operations and ensure best practices are followed.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, banking transactions, and financial transactions.
• Maintain financial security by following internal controls.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
• Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with financial modeling and data analysis.
• Knowledge of payroll processing and management.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Work Conditions:

• Full-time position.
• Office-based (hybrid/remote options may be available depending on company policy).
• Occasional extended hours during reporting or audit seasons.
