Admission Into The ESUT Business School Executive Post Graduate Programme For 2012/2013 Academic Year

Enugu State University of Technology (ESUT) Business School invites applications from qualified candidates for admission into the under mentioned programmes located in Enugu for the 2012/2013 academic year.

1.) Executive MBA

Business Administration
Marketing
Banking & Finance
Advertising & Public relations
Accountancy

2.) Executive MPA

Public Sector Management
Local Government Administration

Duration: 24 Months

Eligibility:

An applicant for admission into the above mentioned programmes should possess any of the following:

At least a first degree in related study area at Second Class Level and a minimum working experience of 5 years in a managerial position.
A HND in related study area with at least a lower; credit recognized relevant professional qualification and a minimum working experience of 5 years in a managerial position.
PGD in related field
ACII for MBA in Insurance & Risk Management.

The Business School reserves the right to administer an examination (if necessary) to the prospective students before final acceptance. The Executive Courses are both Practical and Case oriented. It is therefore necessary for the candidates to apply according to the entry requirements.

3.) Executive M.Sc.

Economics
Human Resources management
Environmental Management
Engineering Management

Duration: 24 Months

Eligibility:

An applicant for admission Into the Executive M.Sc. programme should possess either of the following:

A good first degree in related study areas or equivalent discipline with at least Second Class Honours or its equivalent
ESUT Post Graduates Diploma or PGD from other recognised Institutions with a CGPA of not less than 3.00 on the 5 points grade scale.

4.) Executive Post Graduate Diploma (EPGD)

Business Administration
Public Administration
Accountancy

Eligibility:

An applicant for admission into Executive Post Graduate Diploma (EPGD) should possess at least one of the following:

A first degree in acceptable discipline with a minimum of Second Class Honours.
A minimum of a third class honours in any acceptable discipline with an adequate post qualification experience
HND Upper Credit in any discipline with relevant working experience
A recognized professional qualification as approved by the University Senate.

These programmes are administered through a comprehensive combination of multimedia study packs and weekend contacts periods of lectures and exams per semester.
