Sunlight Resources Limited is a Food & Snack Production Company situated at Mushin axis of Nigeria, who has been in business for more 16 years. A business venture between father and son, Fun Snax began way back in 2005 when the dynamic duo first launched their light and fluffy cheeseballs, in their hometown of Lagos, Nigeria.

It was thanks to the success of these cheesy snacks that the pair then went onto design and craft new products for the range. Spending hours obsessing over new and exciting flavors, Fun Snax soon saw the launch of the brand’s ever-popular potato chips and their tangy shrimp cracker.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Pan, Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: GM - Sales & Distribution
Seniority Level: Managerial Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities:
  • Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry events to identify potential growth areas.
  • Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and expand into existing ones.
  • Identify and qualify potential clients and partners.

Build and Maintain Relationships:

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Develop and Implement Business Plans:
  • Develop and implement business development plans to achieve company objectives.
  • Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business development efforts.
  • Prepare and present business proposals and presentations to clients and stakeholders.

Market Analysis and Research:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
  • Monitor competitor activities and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum educational standard: OND/HND/BSC in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, and any relevant field.
  • Minimum Working Experience: Five(5) years.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Business acumen and understanding of market dynamics.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
  • Proficiency in Word & Excel.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others

Job Specification:

  • Must live within close proximity or ready to relocate.
  • Must be ready to Travel within 100 % & Travel with the country: 50 %.

Salary
N200,000 - N350,000 Monthly.
