Location: Lagos (Fully Remote)

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Proposal Writer to develop compelling business proposals that drive results. 
• In this role, you will research opportunities, analyze requirements, and craft tailored proposals that highlight our strengths and address client needs. 
• You will also manage vendor relationships to gather essential information and support the proposal development process.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify potential proposal opportunities through research and market analysis.
• Research, write, and edit high-quality proposals for various projects and clients.
• Analyze and interpret mandatory requirements, preferred qualifications, and client needs.
• Develop customized proposals that emphasize our strengths and competitive advantages.
• Manage vendor relationships to collect information, content, and support.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts and stakeholders for input and collaboration.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals align with company goals.
• Edit, revise, and finalize proposals to meet client expectations and requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in proposal writing, business development, or a related field
• Proven track record of writing successful proposals
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
• Strong vendor management and relationship-building abilities
• Ability to understand and clearly convey complex requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Commitment to confidentiality and discretion

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in:

• Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail)
• Table formatting and management
• Canva or similar design tools
• PDF editing and management
• Proposal writing tools and software (e.g., proposal management platforms, templates)
