Job Summary

• We’re seeking an experienced Mobile Automation Engineer to deliver world-class quality, working remotely as part of Nigeria’s top 1% IT professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated UI and integration tests for mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Build and enhance scalable mobile automation infrastructures supporting continuous testing and delivery.
• Integrate mobile automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure AppCenter).
• Conduct RESTful API testing aligned with mobile feature development.
• Debug and optimize mobile applications using industry tools like Charles Proxy and mobile proxies.
• Write and maintain Linux shell/bash scripts to support testing environments.
• Ensure exceptional mobile app performance, including battery optimization in background mode.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional international teams — developers, DevOps engineers, QA — to accelerate time-to-market with quality assurance.

Requirements

• Candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related exact science.
• 2 – 5 years of professional experience in mobile automation testing and infrastructure development.
• Hands-on experience with both iOS and Android ecosystems.
• Real-world exposure to agile international development environments preferred.

Skills:

• Proven hands-on experience with iOS mobile test automation tools: XCUITest, XCTest, Xcode.
• Strong practical experience with Android automation frameworks: Espresso, Android Studio.
• Advanced understanding of mobile operating systems and device-level automation.
• Expertise in restful API testing methodologies for mobile apps.
• Deep familiarity with CI / CD tools and workflows in mobile environments.
• Solid Linux environment skills: writing bash/shell scripts for automation purposes.
• Strong debugging and optimization skills for mobile applications.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with mobile testing platforms: AWS Device Farm, Sauce Labs, WebdriverIO, BrowserStack App Automate.
• Familiarity with Docker, AWS services, and Airflow for supporting mobile testing workflows.
• Exposure to mobile unit testing on real devices or emulators.
• Hands-on experience with Cucumber or Robot Framework for mobile automation.
• Testing mobile SDKs, NFC/BLE functionalities, and GPS/location-based features.
• Background in monitoring battery consumption and background app behaviors.
• Manual mobile/web testing experience (1+ year) alongside automation experience.
• Knowledge of A / B testing and mobile user behavior experimentation.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: N800,000 - N1,000,000 / Month (depending on experience and technical depth).
