We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Projects & Facilities

Location: Lagos
Reports To: Executive Management (typically Chief Operations Officer)
Supervises: Project Managers, Facility Managers, Administrative and Technical Teams

Position Overview

• We are seeking a strategic and technically adept Head of Project and Facilities to lead our infrastructure, workplace environments, and facility operations across a diverse real estate portfolio.
• This role combines design intelligence with operational leadership—offering the opportunity to shape spaces that support innovation, efficiency, and sustainability.
• As a key member of the Operations leadership team, you will oversee capital projects, facility maintenance, and long-term infrastructure planning. 
• An architect with a vision that extends beyond buildings to the systems and teams that bring them to life
• Your architectural insight, project execution acumen, and team leadership will ensure our environments remain functional, future-ready, and aligned with business strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Capital Project Leadership:

• Drive end-to-end execution of architectural, construction, and renovation projects.
• Translate business requirements into design briefs, scope documents, and strategic plans.
• Oversee planning, procurement, and contractor coordination to ensure design integrity and cost control.
• Ensure alignment with timelines, budgets, safety standards, and corporate goals.

Facilities Oversight & Optimization:

• Lead the strategic management of all facilities, ensuring operational efficiency and user experience.
• Ensure preventive and reactive maintenance across all systems (HVAC, MEP, security, and more).
• Promote sustainable and smart building practices with space planning, energy usage, and functionality in mind.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management:

• Build and manage relationships with contractors, consultants, and service providers.
• Ensure contract performance, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders (e.g., IT, HR, security) for cohesive project delivery.

Budgeting & Cost Control:

• Lead development of capital and operational budgets for facilities and projects.
• Analyze financials, forecast expenditures, and report on return on investment (ROI).
• Identify cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or compliance.

Strategic Facility Planning:

• Create multi-year facilities master plans to support growth, modernization, and environmental goals.
• Advise leadership on real estate investments, expansion, or consolidation.
• Coordinate feasibility studies, site selections, and workplace strategies.

Compliance & Risk Management:

• Maintain compliance with all local, national, and international building regulations.
• Lead safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency planning efforts.
• Champion health, safety, and environmental standards across the organization.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Inspire and lead a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, facility managers, and support staff.
• Cultivate a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor emerging leaders and foster cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, NEBOSH, IFMA, LEED AP) are a plus.
• 8–10+ years of experience managing complex capital projects and multi-site facilities.
• Proven success in a leadership role within architecture, construction, or facilities domains.

Benefits

• Salary: N550,000 - N650,000 Monthly.
