Job Summary

• We are hiring a strategic and detail-oriented Head of Finance and Control (HOD) to lead the financial operations of our mortgage bank. 
• This role is critical in ensuring robust financial planning, compliance, and risk management, while providing valuable insights to support executive decision-making. 
• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, deep knowledge of financial regulations, and strong leadership capability.
• You will be responsible for overseeing the bank’s budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, audits, and tax functions. In addition, you will implement and maintain sound internal control systems and drive financial strategies that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory, tax, and accounting standards.
• Analyze financial results and present strategic insights to senior leadership.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements and external audits.
• Strengthen internal control and enterprise risk management frameworks.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CFA are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in financial management, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, planning, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Salary
N650,000 - N750,000 Monthly.
