Job Description
The incumbent will assist the Technical Health Informatics activities and programs.
S/he will assist in ensuring the optimization and full functionality of all supported databases (LAMIS inclusive) across all GF-supported facilities while also coordinating all Health Informatics-related activities in the State.
This position will provide mentoring and supervisory roles on capturing quality data, work closely with the DECs and Dos to monitor entries into DHIS and LAMIS and follow through to correct and effect changes where necessary on the EMR. S/He will report at the end of the day data captured to supervisors, prepare presentations and dashboards for morning review meetings, ensure that all PMM tools/Registers are documented service providers and validated daily by DECs/Dos and conduct analysis to identify flags/gaps across all reported indicators.
Also, he/she will ensure daily uploads of RADET and other reports that may be required, support in conducting routine folder level audit of assigned facilities, ensure data concurrence of assigned facilities across reporting platforms – NDR, LAMIS, DHIS/DPT and design and maintain a tracker of tools inventory across assigned LGAs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the software programming team in developing actual logic statements for the coding of M&E indicators and software business rules where necessary and check that all software development is done according to already established standards and procedures.
Assist the development, implementation, supervision and data use of all electronic information systems at facility, community state and country office levels.
Ensure that all electronic information systems meet intended reporting and data output requirements for Global Fund and GoN.
Provide technical assistance for the development and implementation of a systematic data analysis process of data outputs from the electronic information systems, carrying out advanced data analysis and preparing data analysis products for presentation and reporting.
Performs other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Recruitment Standard
HND, BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Health Information Management or relevant Professional Certification in Information and Communications Technology and related disciplines.
1 to 3 years relevant experience of software development or database management,
Experience working at the national level on health programs with knowledge and experience with data collection and analysis
