Job Summary
The Digital Communications and Growth Manager will lead organization’s digital storytelling, content strategy, and digital marketing initiatives to amplify the organization's mission and impact.
This role involves creating and managing compelling content across various digital platforms, enhancing audience engagement, executing digital marketing campaigns, and ensuring consistent brand messaging.
The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, creative, and possesses a strong understanding of digital media trends, marketing strategies, and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Strategy and Management:
Develop and execute a comprehensive digital communications and marketing strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Manage the organization's digital presence, including the website, social media platforms, and email newsletters.
Monitor and analyze digital metrics to optimize content performance and audience engagement.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all digital channels.
Content Creation and Management:
Create, edit, and publish high-quality content (articles, blog posts, videos, infographics) that resonates with audience.
Maintain a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent content delivery across all digital channels.
Collaborate with program teams to gather stories and information for content development.
Social Media Management:
Oversee the organization's social media accounts, including content planning, posting, and community engagement.
Develop and implement social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and support fundraising and advocacy efforts.
Stay updated on social media trends and best practices to enhance organization’s online presence.
Email Marketing:
Design and distribute email newsletters and campaigns to engage supporters and stakeholders.
Segment email lists and personalize content to improve open and click-through rates.
Analyze email campaign performance and implement improvements based on data insights.
Digital Marketing:
Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, display advertising, and social media advertising.
Utilize analytics tools to track campaign performance, measure ROI, and inform future strategies.
Collaborate with external vendors or agencies as needed to support digital marketing efforts.
Brand Consistency and Compliance:
Ensure all digital content aligns with brand guidelines and messaging.
Maintain consistency in tone, style, and visual elements across all digital platforms.
Ensure compliance with digital accessibility standards and data protection regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital communications, content creation, or a similar role.
Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress), email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp), and social media platforms.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is an advantage.
Ability to analyze digital metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Passion for women's empowerment, democracy, and good governance.
Work Conditions:
Hybrid role (combination of remote and in-office work).
Salary
N300,000 - N350,000 monthly.
