Job Summary

• We are looking to hire Teachers in the following subject ares:

  • Agricultural Science

  • Basic Technology
  • Computer / Data Processing
  • English
• The Teachers will be preparing lesson plans, delivering engaging instruction, assessing student progress, and contributing to the overall educational environment of the school.

Responsibilities

• Instruction and Curriculum Delivery: Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
• Deliver engaging and effective instruction to students of varying abilities.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Design and administer assessments, including quizzes, tests, and projects, to evaluate student understanding and progress.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their performance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student grades and progress.
• Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and respect.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a conducive learning atmosphere.
• Address and manage behavioral issues in accordance with school policies.
• Student Support: Offer additional support and resources to students who need extra help.
• Identify and address any learning difficulties or special needs.
• Encourage student participation and engagement in class activities.
• Professional Development: Stay current with developments in education and integrate new methods and technologies into teaching practices.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and school meetings.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians regarding academic progress and any concerns.
• Participate in school committees and events as needed.

Subject-Specific Details:
Math Teacher:

• Focus on teaching concepts in algebra, geometry, calculus, and other math areas.
• Prepare students for standardized tests and examinations.

Civic Education Teacher:

• Teach students about government, citizenship, and civic responsibilities.
• Integrate current events and societal issues into the curriculum.

Agricultural Science Teacher:

• Deliver lessons on agricultural practices, crop production, and animal husbandry.
• Include practical experiences and field trips to enhance learning.

Further Math Teacher:

• Provide advanced instruction in topics such as advanced calculus, statistics, and complex algebra.
• Support students in preparing for higher education and specialized exams.

Basic Technology Teacher:

• Teach fundamental concepts in technology, including mechanics, electronics, and engineering principles.
• Implement hands-on projects and practical applications.

Computer / Data Processing Teacher:

• Focus on teaching computer skills, data management, and programming.
• Ensure students are proficient in software applications and data processing techniques.

English Teacher:

• Teach reading, writing, grammar, and literature.
• Encourage critical thinking and analysis of texts.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field
• Certification: BSC, HND
• Experience: 2 Years and Above
• Skills: Strong subject matter expertise
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students.
• Proficiency in computer skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Salary
N80,000 - N120,000 Monthly.
