We are looking for a full-time organized and experienced storekeeper who can handle all stocks and inventory and ensure store maintenance.
Our ideal candidate can multitask, have a learning aptitude, robust organizational skills and strong attention to detail while remaining professional with customers.
We are looking for a customer-service oriented professional who can manage inventories, restock supplies, maintain inventory-related records and report damaged inventories for record-keeping.
Also, we expect our storekeepers to have hands-on experience using inventory management and material management software to perform all job-related duties.
Responsibilties
Storekeepers keep stock of inventory and manage all operations in the store.
From ordering, receiving to managing inventory, these professionals ensure safe custody of all store-related inventory.
Apart from this, a storekeeper performs various day-to-day activities:
Replenish supply inventories following established guidelines of the company
Maintain a neat, clean and safe working environment as per government regulation
Manage the store layout
Supervise other staff members and keep a record of sales
Receive, upload and shelf all supplies
Perform stock related duties like returning, packing, labelling and pricing goods
Inspect delivers for discrepancy or damage
Report damaged inventories for record-keeping and reimbursement
Rotate stock and dispose of surplus and expired quantities
Coordinate and handle freight and movement of equipment
Keep an organized allocation of inventory placed in warehouse and store
Cross-verify the monthly report at the end of each month
Ensure proper completion of documentation to place an order and make a purchase
Generate a material received report (MRR) timely
Ensure storage of goods follow the first in first out (FIFO) method.
Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum of OND or equivalent
2+ years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or recordkeeping
Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management
Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment
Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management
Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time
Skills to operate common office equipment.
Salary
N90,000 - N100,000 monthly.
