Job Overview

• We're seeking a Cloud Engineer - Modern Workplace to design, implement, and manage Microsoft 365, Endpoint Management, and Digital Workplace solutions.
• As part of the Microsoft Cloud Center of Excellence (CoE), you will be responsible for enabling secure, scalable, and efficient collaboration and productivity tools across hybrid and remote work environments. The ideal candidate has expertise in Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows 365, Identity & Access Management, and Endpoint Security.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Viva, and Power Platform).
• Configure Teams voice, meetings, and governance policies.
• Implement data governance, eDiscovery, and compliance policies in Microsoft Purview.
• Optimize Microsoft 365 security and productivity settings based on user roles and compliance needs.
• Deploy and manage Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
• Implement Windows Autopilot for zero-touch device provisioning.
• Configure Conditional Access, Mobile Application Management (MAM), and Defender for Endpoint.
• Ensure compliance with CIS benchmarks and enterprise security policies for endpoints.
• Deploy and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365 Cloud PC.
• Configure Hybrid Azure AD Join, Group Policies, and security baselines for managed devices.
• Implement remote access solutions using Always On VPN, DirectAccess, and Cloud PCs.
• Configure Azure AD, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Passwordless Authentication.
• Implement Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Conditional Access, and Just-in-Time (JIT) Access.
• Enforce Zero Trust principles across devices, applications, and networks.
• Implement Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Defender for Endpoint, and Secure Score improvements.
• Automate compliance enforcement using Microsoft Purview, Sentinel, and Security Center.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Graph API, and Power Automate for user lifecycle management.
• Use Microsoft Endpoint Analytics and Azure Monitor to track device performance and user experience.
• Troubleshoot M365 services, Intune policies, and virtual desktop performance issues.
• Optimize license costs by implementing automation for inactive accounts and resource utilization tracking.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Modern Workplace, M365 Administration, and Endpoint Management, with at least 1 year in Azure & Microsoft 365.
• Expertise in Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure AD, Windows Autopilot, and Endpoint Security.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows 365, and remote work solutions.
• Experience in Identity & Access Management, Security Baselines, and Zero Trust models.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Graph API, and automation workflows for M365 administration.
• Strong written and verbal English skills are required for effective communication.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for M365 and endpoint-related issues.
• Excellent collaboration and communication with IT, Security, and Compliance teams.
• Ability to document architecture, policies, and automation workflows effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with multi-cloud collaboration solutions.
• Familiarity with Defender for Office 365, Compliance Manager, and Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Enterprise Administrator Expert, or Azure Virtual Desktop Speciality.
