Overview

• We are looking for a Cloud Architect - Network to design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure Azure network architectures for enterprise environments. As part of the Microsoft Cloud Center of Excellence (CoE), you will lead cloud networking strategy, governance, automation, and optimization to support mission-critical workloads across multi-cloud and hybrid infrastructures.
• The ideal candidate has expertise in Azure Networking (VNETs, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, Private Link, WAF, Azure Firewall), Network Security, and Hybrid Cloud Connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Architect high-performance, secure, and scalable cloud network infrastructures in Azure.
• Design and optimize Azure Virtual Networks (VNETs), Subnets, Peering, and Private Endpoints.
• Implement hybrid cloud connectivity using Azure ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, and SD-WAN.
• Architect and configure Load Balancers, Application Gateway (WAF), Azure Firewall, and DDoS Protection.
• Ensure network segmentation, micro-segmentation, and Zero Trust networking principles.
• Implement Azure Security best practices for RBAC, NSGs, WAF, Azure Firewall, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
• Design and enforce secure access controls, identity-based networking, and private connectivity.
• Ensure compliance with NIST, SOC2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and CIS benchmarks.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for network automation using Terraform.
• Automate network provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using Azure Policy, PowerShell, Python, and Logic Apps.
• Develop self-healing network architectures with Azure Monitor, Network Watcher, and AI-driven anomaly detection.
• Optimize network performance, latency, and cost efficiency using Azure Traffic Manager and Front Door.
• Architect multi-cloud networking solutions integrating Azure and OCI.
• Design hybrid cloud connectivity between on-premises, branch offices, and cloud workloads.
• Develop strategies for cloud-native networking, service mesh, and API gateways.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Network Architecture & Engineering, with at least 2 years in Azure networking.
• Deep expertise in Azure Networking (VNETs, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, NSG, Private Link, WAF, Firewall, DDoS).
• Hands-on experience in Hybrid Cloud Networking (VPN, ExpressRoute, SD-WAN).
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) for network automation.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and KQL for network analytics and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Zero Trust Architecture, Network Segmentation, and Cloud Security best practices.
• Strong written and verbal English skills for effective communication and collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to mentor and guide teams on best practices in cloud security and networking.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with multi-cloud networking.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate, Cisco CCNP.
• Experience in On-Premises Networking, Switching, and Routing at an enterprise level.
