Our client is a growing business that needs a Brand, Communications & Social Media Coordinator who can support the growth of our brands to the next level and attract Members & Customers.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and hands-on FEMALE to develop, drive and execute our marketing strategies. Prior experience in PR and/or Marketing is required. Prior experience and/or enthusiasm for luxury hospitality and driving business between and amongst women would be a big plus.
Our client is a private member business club for Women leaders, which enables connections, partnerships, and collaborations. It is for the select leading and experienced woman looking to establish the bonds for impact in their life and business. Our client is more than a business club for women - It is an organizing principle for female empowerment and leadership which is the bedrock for the sustainability of any social economy.
Job Description
Due to the nature of our business, the core of our marketing relies on carefully crafted, curated, and integrated communications for all elements of the business.
As Brand, Communications & Social Media Coordinator you will be responsible for developing and executing end-to-end internal and external communications, social media and marketing plans for the client’s brands.
The role will report to the Business development and operations manager and will have responsibility for the communications strategy, and deliverables related to brand visibility through speaker agreements, internal communications, external messaging a, and platforms, including all social media.
Communication vehicles and platforms will include keynotes, blogs, videos, media opportunities, internal channels, and social/digital platforms.
As Brand, Communications & social media Coordinator, you will be responsible for content, creation and management across all creative work, including print collateral, websites, email campaigns, and many related tasks.
We need a storyteller, who can grow the client’s social media footprint, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while paying attention to detail to ensure that we hit our brand communication acquisition and retention targets.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Creating and implementing plans to develop our brand and attract Members to the Club & Customers to the fine dining restaurant.
Planning and executing PR campaigns, including writing and distributing press releases
Building relationships with trade press and influencers
Planning and executing social media campaigns and developing social media content
Planning and executing email campaigns to clients and suppliers
Maintaining mailing lists and ensuring contact details are up to date
Working with the Graphic designers to design and develop marketing materials including brochures, product copy, banners, and other branded materials
Developing website content
Assisting with the planning and marketing of events
Performing data analysis and market research
Media & Third-Party Management:
Manages Social media accounts for the client’s (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook), promote “products” and engages with followers.
Works with Graphic designers to create various materials/designs for social media
Responds to posts and/or comments from followers
Performs research to find resources, or other content relevant to the club’s membership base and posts to social networks in a manner that invites conversation and interaction
Updates social media accounts with current and relevant photos, videos, and product content.
Works with webmaster for the club website to upload daily catchy content and images for Membership and customer awareness, acquisition, and retention.
Builds and grows online social networks by increasing client base and interactions.
Helps to increase the overall online presence of the Club
Creates informative and interesting press releases, press kits, newsletters, and related marketing materials.
Develops and implements effective communication strategies that build customer loyalty programmes, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction.
Develops effective sponsorship decks to attract event sponsors and the likes.
Prepares detailed media activity reports.
Plans and manages all marketing materials' design, content, and production.
Works with the GM and relevant team members to generate new ideas and strategies.
Supervises projects to guarantee all content is publication-ready.
Creates communication and marketing strategies for new products, launches, events, and promotions.
Responds to communication-related issues in a timely manner.
Develops website content on a continuous basis.
Blog Content Strategy & Development:
The blog will require a proposed summary of content themes and frequencies, to be developed based on an understanding of the brand, its messaging, current trends, events, and activities the world over.
Once the content strategy has been confirmed and approved, the proposed structure will serve as a guide for developing blog posts for the company’s website.
Monthly Newsletter Development:
The monthly newsletter is a great way to stay in contact with members and aspiring and potential members. The Newsletter content themes and frequencies are to be developed on understanding the brand, its messaging, current trends and affairs, hot topics, creative events, and other interesting news
Client’s Mini Club & Fine dining Event write-ups:
This requires no standard format or messaging, as the content for the blogpost is gathered from a firsthand experience at the event. The writer drafts the article from her observation point of view and uses that view to provide an account of the various activities of the evening, while constantly reiterating the core club’s ethos of women supporting, sponsoring, and connecting with each other.
Flexibility Qualifications and Experience
Relevant degree qualification (Communications, Public Relations, Marketing)
A minimum of 5 years of previous experience in a PR or Marketing role is essential
Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media
Must be perfectly fluent in English
Website management and digital communications.
Good understanding of the use and effect of social media.

N400,000 - N500,000 per month.
