Supervise implementation of the company’s regional security plan.
Ensure site compliance with operational and administrative policies.
Ensure compliance with the company’s security management system.
Supervise execution of the Journey Management Process.
Ensure compliance with the company’s field security plans.
Supervise deployment of government security forces.
Ensure compliance with site security plans.
Supervise site security guards within the region.
Maintain integrity of the access control systems to include, but not limited to: CCTV, ID systems, ID cards, etc.
Organize periodic security meetings with all stakeholders.
Conduct drills and other security simulations to test existing security infrastructure and ensure constant monitoring of processes.
Compile crime reports for assessment of company risk environment.
Develop implementation plan for all audit gaps that pertain to security.
Conduct regular stress tests on all locations.
Conduct road route assessment across assigned region.
Submit weekly security briefs for areas of operation for management review.
Conduct regular security awareness training for staff, contractors and visitors.
Conduct security orientation briefs for all new hires and visitors.
Maintain cordial relationships with government security force (GSF) units which support the company through periodic visits. Ensure GSF unit provides support when needed.
Maintain intelligence log-book and monitor intelligence sources.
Ensure compliance with Voluntary Principles of Human Rights by GSF.
Monitor security contractors’ compliance with all contract provisions.
Develop protocol for general administration of security contracts and determine ways of improving provision of contractual service to the company.
Document and file all financial transactions related to day-to-day running of the team.
Document implementation of set contract Key Results Areas (KRAs) and report non-compliance where necessary.
Ensure payments are made to all security contractors as per contract terms.
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Senior Manager, Security Field Operations.
Requirements
Qualifications:
HND / Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant discipline.
+5 years’ relevant work experience.
