We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Business Development Manager – Corporate and Retail
Identify new business opportunities, formulate business development department by way of recruiting Business Development Executive and Associates.
Research the latest in the business industry and creating new opportunities to expand business.
Generate new leads and developing potential growth strategies by way of coordinating the activities of the business development department.
Create strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities
Build relationships with BDAs and BDEs by way of gauging their needs and developing leads generators that the business needs.
Define the product roadmap in the long, mid, and short term, incorporating the BDE and BDA needs, inputs, and feedback from other internal and external groups and coordinate with sales team.
Prepare overall business development plan and monitor execution
Prepare budgets and produce timely financial and narrative reports for projects and BD initiatives for the Executive Manager through the GM to report to the Executive MD/CEO
Interpret reports and advise the Sales & Marketing Manager & COO on the achievement of the project plan.
Share responsibility to develop innovative marketing approaches and plans to effectively showcase Harmony Garden capabilities and offerings to the different segments of prospective customers.
Provide market intelligence support to the Communications function and assist in all targeting, segmenting, and market positioning activities based on accurate market research.
Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients
Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends
Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them
Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry and positioning
Managing and training a business development team
Collaborating with design and sales teams to ensure that the requirements are met such as sales numbers and profit goals.
Contacting potential clients to establish a business relationship and meet with them
Develop new sales areas and improving sales through various methods
Research the latest in the business industry and creating new opportunities to expand business
Job Requirements
A Master or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 15 years’ experience in Banking, Insurance or Pension sector
Good knowledge of real estate working experience.
Experience in sales, business development, or account management is highly valued, particularly in the specific industry or sector.
The ability to lead and inspire teams, as well as work collaboratively, is important in a growth-oriented environment.
Excellent communication, both written and verbal, is crucial for building rapport with clients and stakeholders.
A demonstrable track record in sales, business development, or a related field is highly valued.
A strong understanding of the target market, industry trends, and competitive landscape is essential.
The ability to negotiate effectively and close deals is a key aspect of the role.
