We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Office Manager (Travel & Tours)
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilties
Ensure day to day running of the office.
Maintain office services and office records.
Handle all third party enquiries and manage internal staff relations.
Must be able to use computer to prepare, control and manage correspondence reports and documents.
Arrange and coordinate meetings and trainings.
Establish and maintain procedures for record keeping.
Protect organizations value by ensuring confidentiality of official files and data.
Maintain organizational efficiency.
Oversee junior office staff and prepare operational reports and schedules to ensure efficiency.
Handle personnel issues relating to staff conflicts absenteeism, welfare etc.
Assist to define office policies and procedures and ensure adherences.
Maintain a safe and secure working environment.
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly administrative reports.
Issue letters of employment to new members of staff and collate their relevant details for filing.
Coordinate disciplinary and grievance procedures, working with the Legal department where necessary.
Handling Staff appraisal.
Liaise with travel partners, including airlines and hotels, to manage bookings and schedules, often a year in advance.
Take part in familiarisation visits to new destinations, to gather information on issues and amenities of interest to consumers.
Stay abreast of the latest travel industry developments, technological advancements, and marketing trends to drive innovation and uphold our competitive edge.
Strong communication and people skill.
Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
Adept computer skills with Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Spreadsheets), Word Processing, and PowerPoint. CorelDraw etc.
Sell travel products and tour packages.
Source products and destinations to meet consumer demands for bespoke travel and sustainable tourism.
Briefing the MD/CEO on a daily basis.
Research new products.
Requirements
A Degree holder in any applicable discipline
Must have a minimum of 5 years’ management experience from a reputable travel and tours company
Must have very good knowledge of the usage of AMADEUS GDS and Galileo
Managerial training certification in any institute (Not compulsory)
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Marketing and selling skills
Travel and/or management experience
Strong leadership and team-building skills

Resilience to cope with long hours and pressure at peak times
A genuine interest in travel
An awareness of the current trends in travel (e.g. sustainable tourism) and knowledge of popular and upcoming destinations is also important.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
