Job Title: Senior Health & Benefits Consultant
Location: Lagos
Job Responsibilities
Growth:
Actively execute sales efforts in order to achieve New Business budget in line with the EH&B Annual Budget and overall new business development requirements.
New Business strategy development and implementation with key focus on sustainable & ethical growth of the Company’s EH&B book of business.
Implementation of the company’s Business Development model in Nigeria, including new and cross selling opportunities
Manage approaches to major prospects and delivering on new business projects in conjunction with the company’s Specialist resources and regional Team.
Increase profitability in terms of the Company’s overall strategic plan and objectives
New Business research & pipeline development including reporting to the Company’s Management and the Client’s Group (Local, Regional and Global)
Provide an unparalleled service to potential clients with excellent Brand Marketing ensuring acquisition of these businesses.
Drive cross sell opportunities with other MMC line of business including retirement and Talent consulting
Assists with cross selling strategies on selected existing accounts.
Maintains pipeline and ensures pipeline integrity, volume and velocity
Participates and influences monthly sales forecast alongside industry, specialty, and matrix leader
Drives and participates in weekly pre-sales forecast meeting and monthly sales meetings with Country and Regional leadership
Drive the implementation and adoption of MPower within Nigeria
Co-ordinate regular updates of the local EH&B Business Development & renewal and reporting to the Business Leader, West Africa
Responsible for accuracy of information on new sales and renewals
Accountability – taking responsibility for your actions and words, own your actions and deliver on your promise.
Client Retention:
Leading client servicing teams to achieve expected outputs through strict KPI management
Client centricity – put client first and recognise colleagues
Overseeing client relationship for local EH&B book with support of CE’s
Follow client reporting standards & placement of policies
Manage client servicing and achieve +95% retention of clients
Eliminate renewal misses due to timing by ensuring timely submission of terms in line with client SLAs
Ensure accurate revenue recognition by submitting necessary documents on time
Supporting development of talent pool for EH&B in Nigeria
Guide team resources to achieve set outputs through strict management of KPIs
