NAOK Developer Limited is a new company to be based in the vibrant business hub of Victoria Island, Lagos. We focus on real estate development industry that involves transforming land or buildings for specific purposes, such as residential, commercial, or industrial use, encompassing activities like land acquisition, planning, design, financing, construction, and project management and we are transforming land or existing properties into ready-to-sell or lease projects, aiming to generate revenue through the sale or rental of developed properties, and we oversee the entire development process from acquisition to completion We are committed to honesty, integrity, customer satisfaction, proactive thinking, innovation, and a commitment that exceeds expectations, all the while continuing the social and sustainable development of the environment. Job Title: Treasurer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

The Treasure Overview

• The accountant manages the NAOK company's financial matters, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting and record-keeping. 
• He/She oversees tasks like reconciling bank statements, calculating payroll, and preparing financial statements. 
• The accountant also play a crucial role in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis to ensure the company's financial health.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including sales, expenses, and payments, including all taxes and other levies.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasting future financial performance, and analyzing variances.
• Perform internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• In conjunction with Senior Management prepare and file tax returns, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with tax laws.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, assess performance, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Assist to manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient funds to meet obligations, and optimizing cash positions.
• Reconcile bank statements with general ledger accounts to identify discrepancies and errors.
• Assist to calculate and process payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and legal requirements.
• Communicate with clients, providing financial advice, and representing the company's financial interests.

Skills and Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or Business Management
• Strong understanding of financial concepts, accounting principles, and financial analysis techniques.
• Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and assist to make sound financial decisions.
• Ability to develop and implement financial strategies.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to identify and assist to solve financial problems.
• Familiarity with financial management software and tools.
• Knowledge of the relevant industry and market conditions.
