Ardova Plc is a Nigerian leading indigenous and integrated energy company involved in the distribution of petroleum products. With an extensive network of over 450 retail outlets in Nigeria and significant storage facilities in Apapa, Lagos and Onne, Rivers State, we procure and distribute petrol (PMS), diesel (AGO), kerosene (DPK) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). Our services also involve the manufacturing and distribution of a wide range of quality lubricants from our oil blending plant in Apapa, Lagos. These lubricants include: Super V, Visco 2000 and Diesel Motor Oil. We are also the sole authorised distributor of Shell branded Helix Engine Oils in Nigeria.

Job Summary
The Role holder is responsible for ensuring compliance to company procedures, effectiveness in financial activities, integrity of financial statements.
Providing adequate support to the operation and activities of the Process and Operations Control Unit and other assigned responsibilities.
Job Details
Processing of Vendor’s invoice on e-procure as per procurement policy – Low value, SLA, P.O. invoices and manual invoices
Pre-payment audit of all invoices to ensure adequate value is derived from all expenditures and safeguard of the Company’s resources.
Communicating observed irregularities in the process of pre-payment audit activities to the team lead for review and follow up.
Review and report on inventory management and consumable items.
Review of all ledgers on advance payment and report all irregularities as may be observed during the review.
Perform periodical check on all the departments with the custody of company resources and regular report on observations.
Checking the invoice on the ERP via the vendors account for duplication.
Processing of customer’s refund.
Customer Credit Implementation.
Review and preparation of monthly reports on sundry income, retention and control assessment.
Assisting in the implementation of company policies, controls, and procedures.
Preparation of company's bank reconciliation statements
Conduct post implementation review on the activities of finance operations with follow-up and report on the identified exceptions.
Performance of daily call-over of transactions.
Requirements
Education:
Degree in Accounting or its equivalent with minimum 2.2
ICAN is desirable
Experience:
6-7 years’ relevant experience.
Relevant professional certification is an added advantage
Skills:
Excellent organizational and coordination skills
Outstanding interpersonal skills to work well in a truly global environment, complementing teams in other locations
Gather/analyze complex data, develop accurate conclusions and provide recommendations with sufficient comprehension of the business to understand control implications.
