Job Title: Trade & Customer Marketing Executive
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
To implement & Monitor the Trade Marketing Activities, Strategy and effort to achieve defined secondary sales objectives and to actively compliment company/business objectives across product categories in line with specific guidelines.
To also Partner with the teams and partners to implement the development and execution of customer-centric marketing plans that align with Givanas Cosmetic’s strategic objectives.
Coordinate communication, track performance metrics, and ensure alignment across all activities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, Implement, execute, Supervise, measure & report the effectiveness of all trade marketing programs Secondary Sales objectives in specific, to ensure increased product availability and visibility across key trade channels for all product categories thereby resulting in incremental sales and gaining volume share.
Planning and Coordination: Coordinate and supervise trade activation and promotions in all channels within the assigned territory
Reporting and Admin: Conduct, collate and submit dashboards, secondary sales trackers, pre and post activity evaluation and other required reports.
Audit: Check visibility, share of shelf, availability vs. itinerary, random check usage of Outlet Call Cards and other tools in the field
Monitoring & Reporting: Market/competitor activities (including their impacts on GC brands and recommended mitigating actions)
Improving brand presence and campaign execution across trade through excellence in in-store planning, execution, and tracking in alignment with the annual marketing priorities
Leading and implementing channel-specific marketing strategies and plans for assigned retailers
Conceptualizing and executing trade promotions and rolling out impactful in-store campaigns in collaboration with marketing and sales teams
Visiting the points of sale regularly to ensure that the brand is visible, and guidelines are respected
Activities Planning: Develop an activity master calendar on a quarterly basis and collaborate with sales & marketing teams to execute activities as per plan.
Activation Execution: Track pre and post-M&E approvals for the Customer Marketing department.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor & track executions weekly/monthly/quarterly from both internal/external perspectives and also analyse market trends, consumer insights, and shopper behaviour to identify opportunities for growth
Requirements
Qualifications:
First Degree in any discipline with a minimum 3 years’ experience in sales planning or customer/trade marketing within FMCG industry or similar industry.
Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experiences: Minimum of 1 year commercial experience in marketing or sales.
Knowledge: Merchandising & Selling
Functional or Technical Skills:

Presentation & Communication
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail
Knowledge & Skills:
Proven success working in a fast paced environment where strategic brand-building efforts are complemented by hard-driving promotional activities.
Ability to build, train and supervise secondary structures.
Proven People Management Skills.
Analytical and strong presentation skills/ Good MS office knowledge
