We are a leading conglomerate active in the petroleum upstream and downstream sector of Nigeria. We produce and export crude oil and our fields have impressive quantities of gas. In Downstream, we are a leading distributor with several hundreds of retail outlets for refined petroleum and gas products; and we have oil blending and gas bottling facilities.

Job Summary

• Are you a Visionary Strategist and Commercial wizard with a proficiency in, and passion for the downstream oil and gas sector? 
• Do you have remarkable experience in FMCG, Oil Marketing, Banking or Services Industry and with a knack for leading commercial and profitable returns?
• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Consultant for innovative strategies that will drive our operations and enhance our market presence in downstream segments of the oil and gas industry in Nigeria.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximize profitability and market share.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify new business opportunities. 
• Collaborate with cross- functional teams to optimize supply chain and operational efficiencies.
• Advise relevant teams on strong/ cordial relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, regulatory bodies and customers.
• Provide expert advice on pricing, contract negotiations, and risk management.

Requirements

• At least 25 years of experience in Commercial domain with at least 10 years in Management Role.
• A proven track record in commercial roles in Banking, FMCG, Services, or Oil and Gas sector.
• Strong analytical and problem- solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of the Nigerian Oil and Gas landscape is a plus. 
• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Engineering or any other related field.
• An MBA or other post-graduate professional qualification will be an added advantage.
