Job Title: National Plastic Action Partnership (NPAP) Manager

Job Responsibilities
The manager shall manage all activities of Nigeria’s NPAP.
The Manager will be responsible for the overall coordination and strategic management of the Nigeria National Plastic Action Partnership (NPAP). This role requires a dynamic and results-driven professional who can provide high-level oversight, foster strategic partnerships, and ensure the successful implementation of Nigeria’s plastic action agenda in alignment with the Global Plastic Action Partnership (GPAP).
Support the identification, onboarding, and active engagement of members of the NPAP Steering Board, subject matter experts, and technical task-force members.
Facilitate regular meetings and communication among governance bodies to ensure alignment and momentum across workstreams.
Collaborate closely with the National Action Map (NAM) tool partner and designated metrics consultants to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
Review technical inputs, data analyses, and policy recommendations to maintain the quality and relevance of NPAP outputs.
Identify and engage strategic investment partners to support the implementation of Nigeria’s plastic action roadmap.
Explore and promote viable investment opportunities that advance circular economy models and plastic waste reduction initiatives in Nigeria.
Provide leadership and management oversight to NPAP Secretariat staff and any engaged consultants or service providers, ensuring that all team members are aligned with the NPAP work plan, performance goals, and deliverables.
Prepare and submit quarterly progress reports to the Global Plastic Action Partnership (GPAP), highlighting key milestones, challenges, and lessons learned.
Track the implementation of the NPAP strategy and action plan, using established indicators and feedback mechanisms.
Represent the NPAP at public events, stakeholder meetings, and relevant fora.
Work with communication partners to raise visibility of NPAP activities and outcomes, fostering public awareness and stakeholder buy-in
