We are recruiting for the position of:
Position Title:Operation Superintendent
Location:Cross River
Responsibilities:
Establish operating procedures and programs to optimize operations and attain targets.
Direct and supervise the activities of assigned personnel in the operations services, both operation production and maintenance.
Analyze and evaluate procedures and equipment and recommends modifications that will improve and or enhance standardization, simplification and safety of procedures and equipment.
Coordinate all startup, operational and maintenance activities
Direct and supervise the activities of assigned personnel in the operations services, both production and maintenance at the level established by Management for this position.
Review and endorse Performance Guarantee Test scope, including division of responsibilities
Review startup schedule and its integration into the Overall Project Schedule
Prepare various operational reports including maintenance activities, providing data on production and operation levels, fluctuations in specifications, problems, quantifying the losses in terms of production etc.
Monitor and follow up on priorities and schedules of work in line with maintenance.
Participate in preparing operations and maintenance budgets. Monitor and control operational expenditure in line with departmental objectives.
Provides management services for development and review of technical and operating procedures and specifications to assure compliance with Company and project specifications and requirements
Participates in production reviews during the Engineering Phase and ensures continuity of operational results to site application
Participates in Project risk assessment and assures field continuity to mitigation processes
Manage the Project Execution Groups operational team to ensure all projects and production activities are executed safely, cost effectively and to schedule, delivering facilities fit-for-purpose meeting the defined safety and quality standards with minimum life cycle costs.
As required, liaise with Technical and Onshore support team in relation to onshore works and acceptance.
Supervise the maintenance of consumable stocks/operating chemicals and materials on site and controls the issue and consumption of such.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering with Offshore, Operations and Production Experience
10 - 15 years of major international project experience required
5 years Supervisory experience in Onshore Plant
Has clearly demonstrated strong technical competence in OIMS.
Working knowledge of all relevant codes and standards and industry practices
Experience in Oil and Gas well operations including knowledge of completion and down hole equipment is highly desirable.
