The Tele-Collections Executive will work in the Corporate Risk department of Sun King, Nigeria and will work closely with the Contact Center, Operations and Sales team by following on customers to make repayment for our Pay-As-You-Go products.
We are looking for an experienced Tele-Collections Executive who would leverage on their expertise to grow our repayment and collections rate.
Responsibilities
What you would be expected to do:
Utilize various skip tracing techniques and collection strategies (often designed by employee) to locate right parties to negotiate payment arrangements on high collectability or value accounts.
Negotiate payment terms and methods when right party is reached. The process often requires reviewing the account information in database, and/or asking probing questions to better know potential objections to payment.
Overcome stalls and objections suggest money sources for debt payment. That is minimizing resistance for payments and suggest available customer-friendly payment options.
Utilize payment options (credits cards, direct checks) and secure this information so that administrative services can process.
Offer customers several payment options and arrange for the prompt repayment of balances.
Negotiate settlements outside of normal guidelines, authorize credit bureaus deletions, negotiate payment arrangements over a longer span of time than normal.
Updating the account details of customers and resolving pending customer issues.
Escalate and file all fraud cases and follow up with efficient timelines and solutions benefiting both the company and clients
Updating correct customer data and information during collections calls check off.
Ensure security and data protection on all clients’ data capture during collections interactions.
Capture customers complaints and escalate to relevant information using the available tools.
Requirements
You might be a strong candidate if you:
Hold a Degree or Higher National diploma in a business-related field.
Have a minimum of 2 years working preferably in a related role in the financial sector or related entities.
Previous experience in customer service, sales, collections, or a related role is preferred.
Can communicate clearly and succinctly, utilizing proper grammar and telephone etiquette is preferred.
Can speak Yoruba, Igbo, or Hausa languages fluently.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
