Job Title: Information Technology (IT) Administrator

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and proactive Information Technology (IT) Staff member to support the daily operations of our company’s IT systems. 
• The IT Staff will be responsible for maintaining hardware and software systems, providing technical support to staff, and assisting in the implementation of new technologies to improve operational efficiency.
• The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, printers, Phones and other IT equipment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure to ensure connectivity and security.
• Assist in the management and maintenance of company databases, email systems, and cloud services.
• Implement and enforce IT security policies and best practices.
• Maintain inventory of IT hardware and software assets.
• Perform routine system updates, backups, and disaster recovery testing.
• Assist in onboarding new employees with IT setup and training.
• Document technical issues and resolutions for future reference.
• Support the IT Manager in projects and system upgrades as needed.
• Incharge of Compuer Server

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar IT support or technician role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Any IT/ Computer ertifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or similar is an advatage
• Experience with help desk systems and ticketing tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).

Working Conditions:

• Office environment with occasional remote work, depending on company policy.
• May require lifting and moving computer equipment.
• Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be necessary during system maintenance or emergencies.
