About the Job

• We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Visa Officer to join our dynamic team in Lagos. 
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling end-to-end visa application processes for tourist, study, work, and conference visas across multiple countries. 
• The Visa Officer must possess deep knowledge of visa requirements and procedures for key destinations and demonstrate a strong ability to advise clients accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and process visa applications (tourist, study, work, and conference) for countries including but not limited to the UK, USA, Canada, Schengen states, UAE, African and Asian countries.
• Verify and collate all necessary documentation based on specific country and visa type requirements.
• Provide accurate and up-to-date visa guidance and consultancy to clients.
• Conduct interviews and pre-screening with clients to assess visa eligibility and documentation accuracy.
• Assist clients in preparing supporting documents
• Maintain thorough records of all visa applications processed, including client communication and embassy feedback.
• Stay up to date on changes to immigration laws and visa processes.
• Ensure compliance with all embassy and travel regulations.
• Follow up with clients post-application to track results and provide further assistance.
• Deliver excellent customer service to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Degree or Diploma in Travel & Tourism
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in visa application processing within a travel agency or immigration consultancy.
• In-depth knowledge of visa categories: tourist, study, work, and conference visas.
• Familiarity with visa application portals such as VFS Global, TLS Contact, US Travel Docs, etc.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and general administrative tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision.
• International Relations, or a related field is preferred.
