We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Estate Surveyor

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Estate Surveyor to join our dynamic property team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of property agency functions, including market surveys, property marketing, transaction management, and client relationship building. 
  • The Estate Surveyor will play a key role in ensuring the effective sale and lease of properties, providing expert advice, and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and prospects.

Key Responsibilities
Market Surveys and Property Assessment:

  • Conduct comprehensive market surveys to identify properties available for sale or lease.
  • Analyze property features, location, and market conditions to determine their suitability and value.
  • Provide detailed reports and recommendations based on survey findings.

Property Marketing and Promotion:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for properties in the portfolio.
  • Highlight key property features to facilitate marketing ease and attract prospective clients.
  • Utilize various marketing channels including online platforms, print media, and direct outreach to promote properties effectively.

Transaction Management:

  • Initiate, manage, and successfully conclude property transactions, including negotiations with buyers, tenants, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review documentation related to sales, leases, and agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies throughout all transactions.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients and prospects.
  • Understand clients’ property needs and provide tailored advice and solutions.
  • Manage ongoing communications to keep clients engaged and informed about property opportunities.

Property Feature Identification:

  • Assess and document the features and attributes of properties to assist in marketing and transaction processes.
  • Identify unique selling points and attributes that aid in property positioning and client decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Estate Management, Real Estate, or related field.
  • At least 2 years proven experience in property agency functions and transaction management.
  • Strong understanding of property marketing, valuation, and legal processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market data and identify key property features.
  • Proficiency in property management software and marketing tools.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer service orientation.
