Job Description
Delivery of the Recruitment Strategy:
Ensure competency-based recruitment & selection in line with the clients’ needs.
Diagnose key issues and challenges during the recruiting process and liaise with hiring partners to effectively resolve.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end recruitment working with HR Partners, Business leaders/ Hiring managers. (including development of competency-based Job Specification and Description; clearly articulated selection methodologies and general recruitment process)
Manage experienced hire interview process including sourcing and screening resumes, selecting candidates for interview, conducting interview kick-offs and debrief sessions
Maintain recruitment database and applicant tracking system (HR System); ensure that it is up-to-date and generate reports on a regular basis
Coordinate recruitment approval process using existing Applicant Tracking System (BambooHR, and others)
Coordinate the recruiters to ensure fulfillment of hiring needs within MRF/BambooHR, within defined timeline, quality goals and budget
Identify critical target groups and source high quality candidates through direct searches, candidate referrals, networking, recruiting sites, professional and social networking
Conduct thorough screening and assessment to qualify candidates based on job role competencies.
Coordinate successful interview logistics for short listed candidates, provide relevant candidate-specific information to Business leaders/ Hiring managers and ensure regular updates and feedback is provided.
Maintain regular communication with hiring managers and candidates
Demonstrate business/functional knowledge during interviews /decision meetings by ensuring interviews are competency based
Develops creative sourcing approaches to build and maintain talent pipelines
Conducts up-to-date market intelligence trends and opportunities to explores new talent sources
Responsible for reporting and communication to stakeholders through weekly, monthly recruitment reports which highlights position progress, diagnosis of challenges and summary of measurable interventions.
Manage recruitment agency relationships for hard to fill positions if required
In liaison with HR Partners, ensure high integrity of employee data & organisation for assigned population
Comply with workforce hiring procedures (work orders) and ensure timely completion
Employee Data processing through Master Staff list update, BambooHR/ORION on boarding and timely EOB Notification.
Experience / Education Required
First Degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration or Humanities.
Professional membership of a recognised HR body such as CIPD, CIPM, SHRM.
Proven ability to work in a culturally diverse, multinational environment.
A minimum of five (5) years professional recruiting experience of all job levels in Port Terminals/Shipyard Marine.
Ability to drive metric-based recruitment campaigns
Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues in a methodical way
Ability to establish credibility with senior-level internal clients through strong interpersonal and communication skills
Direct sourcing skills e.g. social media and mobile strategies
Experienced management of competency-based recruitment
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (our current system is BambooHR/ORION).
