In the manufacturing and production space, the group operates Elo Water in Otokutu, Warri, and EJ Bakery in Warri. Additionally, Honour Flow owns Elo Ice Cream, delivering sweet treats, alongside a fuel station and gas station serving the energy needs of the community. The group also holds Revelation Bank in Ughelli, contributing to the financial sector.
We are looking for a talented and experienced Eatery Chef to join our culinary team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, creativity in menu development, and strong leadership skills to manage kitchen staff and ensure high-quality food service.
As an Eatery Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
You will work closely with restaurant management to design seasonal menus, control food costs, and ensure customer satisfaction through consistent food quality and presentation.
The Eatery Chef must be able to lead by example, train junior kitchen staff, and foster a positive and productive work environment.
You should be well-versed in various cooking techniques and cuisines and be able to adapt to different dietary needs and preferences.
In this role, you will also be responsible for sourcing ingredients, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining relationships with vendors to ensure the best quality products are used in the kitchen.
You will monitor kitchen performance, conduct regular inspections, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and food quality.
The Eatery Chef must stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate innovative ideas into the menu to attract and retain customers.
This position requires excellent organizational and time-management skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Requirements
Culinary Degree or equivalent experience

Must be in ughelli, delta state
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Creativity in menu planning and food presentation
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Experience with inventory and cost control
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
