Fadac Resources and Services Limited - Our client is a fast-growing experiential marketing agency in Lagos that handles several multinational accounts having been recognized for excellent delivery and their capacity to provide lasting value, they are well-positioned to dominate the experiential industry.

Due to expansion, they are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic recommendations to the Managing Director in developing financial plans.
• Summarize the organization’s current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, preparation of monthly and yearly financial statements and other reports.
• Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting.
• Ensure proper allocation of resources and advice on long-term business and financial planning.
• Ensure deductions and prompt remittance of necessary schedules and various statutory deductions i.e., VAT, PAYEE, CIT, pension Fund, etc.
• Perform statistical, cost, and financial analysis of financial reports and data and prepare subsequent narrative analyses for management and investors alike.
• Periodic audit of departmental processes, also interfacing with external auditors.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional departments, ensuring that direct reports are developing on the job.
• Identifying and mitigating financial risks, such as market fluctuations, regulatory changes, and operational challenges.
• Monitoring and managing cash flow to ensure liquidity and support ongoing operations and investments.

Requirements

• B.Sc or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 10-15 years of extensive experience in financial management, including previous roles as a CFO, VP of Finance, or similar position.
• Knowledge of accounting, state and federal tax law, remittance, and compliance.
• Proficiency in financial software, advanced knowledge of accounting principles, and experience with regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
