Job Title: Restaurant Floor Manager
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Job Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing the daily floor operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service, high customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
The Restaurant Floor Manager supervises front-of-house staff, resolves customer concerns, and ensures adherence to restaurant standards and policies
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all front-of-house activities to ensure seamless operations.
Monitor staff performance, providing coaching and training to improve service standards.
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns and special requests.
Maintain a positive dining experience by ensuring fast and efficient service.
Oversee table assignments, reservations, and wait times to optimize restaurant flow.
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house.
Enforce restaurant policies, hygiene, and safety regulations.
Monitor stock levels of front-of-house supplies and request replenishments as needed.
Assist in marketing initiatives, special events, and promotions to boost sales.
Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate daily objectives and service goals.
Ensure staff adhere to dress code, grooming standards, and overall professionalism.
Manage shift schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours.
Prepare reports on daily sales, customer feedback, and operational issues for management review.
Requirements
Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
3+ years of experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of restaurant operations, customer service, and industry best practices.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software.
