We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief Operations Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Translate the company’s strategic vision into actionable operational plans for each business unit.
• Set measurable KPIs and track performance to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
• Continuously monitor market and internal dynamics to refine execution plans.
• Oversee day-to-day operations across the beauty, pharmacy, and retail arms.
• Ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across all processes.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of business unit leaders.
• Collaborate with the CFO to manage budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis for operational initiatives.
• Identify and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising service quality.
• Champion the adoption of enterprise-wide digital tools and systems.
• Use data-driven insights and dashboards to enhance decision-making and transparency.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, internal controls, and risk management protocols are implemented and adhered to across all units.
• Lead succession planning and talent development across departments.
• Foster a culture of accountability, adaptability, and performance excellence.
• Align and standardize operations across procurement, HR, finance, and logistics.
• Break down silos and encourage collaboration across subsidiaries.
• Use customer feedback and market trends to refine operational strategies and improve user experience across services.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field. MBA or equivalent executive education is strongly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in senior operations roles, including at least 5 years at an executive level overseeing multiple business units or sectors.
• Sector Experience: Cross-sector experience—preferably in retail, wellness, healthcare, or consumer services.
• Certifications (Preferred): Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or other operational excellence frameworks.
• Proficiency: Must demonstrate Expert or Advanced levels in all core operational competencies.
